A FAG 22215M double-row spherical roller bearing, 75 mm bore, 130 mm outside diameter, 31 mm width. Straight cylindrical bore, open, machined brass cage, normal precision class, CN internal clearance.
222 identifies the double-row spherical roller bearing in the 22 dimension series, the wider of the two common spherical roller series. The bore code 15 gives 75 mm. M is the machined brass cage. There is no K in the designation, so the bore is straight and the bearing mounts directly on the shaft rather than on an adapter sleeve. There is no W33, so the outer ring has no lubrication groove or feed holes.
The two rows of barrel rollers run on a common spherical outer raceway, so the inner ring and roller set swivel within the outer ring and the bearing accommodates shaft misalignment and housing deflection while carrying very heavy radial load. A double-row spherical roller bearing takes thrust in both directions. The machined brass cage tolerates higher temperature and heavier shock than a pressed steel cage and is the usual choice for oil-lubricated and vibrating-screen duty.

SKF 22215 E and NTN 22215EMD1 are same-envelope equivalents in the reinforced design. FAG 22215K is a related size with a 1:12 tapered bore that mounts on an H315 adapter sleeve; FAG 22215M.W33 is a related size with a lubrication groove and three feed holes in the outer ring.
