Motor stock is bought in lots and moves quickly, so an exact model or catalog number will always outperform browsing. Copy it off the nameplate with the suffix intact; on servo and stepper units that suffix carries the winding, feedback device and connector arrangement, and dropping it turns one part into a dozen near-misses. If the plate is unreadable, photograph it anyway along with the frame and any tag on the terminal box, and we can usually work back to a number.
