A complete two-bolt flange mounted ball bearing unit — a one-piece powder coated cast iron flange housing with a 206-series wide-inner-ring ball insert already fitted, sealed and ready to bolt to a machine wall or bearing plate. This is the assembly, not a bare bearing that still needs a housing. The 1-1/16 in (26.99 mm) bore slides onto a plain straight shaft and clamps with setscrews, so no shaft machining, adapter sleeve or press fit is required.
Dodge builds these numbers so the part describes itself. F2B means Flange, 2-Bolt. SC means Setscrew locking, Cast iron housing, standard-duty ball insert. The trailing 101 is the bore code, and in this family the code reads directly as the shaft size: 101 is 1-1/16 in. Read together, F2B-SC-101 is a two-bolt cast iron setscrew ball unit for a 1-1/16 in shaft. Dodge’s own stock item number for this configuration is 124410.
Two errors travelled with the older listing data for this item and both are worth stating plainly.
First, the previous title carried F4BSC101 as though it were an alternate spelling of this part. It is not. F4B is the FOUR-bolt flange housing; this part is F2B, the TWO-bolt. F4B-SC-101 (Dodge item 124218) is a genuinely different product with a different flange outline and a different bolt pattern, and it will not drop into holes drilled for a two-bolt unit. If you arrived here searching F4B-SC-101, you need that part, not this one — the bore and the insert are the same but the mounting is not. For that reason F4BSC101 has been deliberately removed from the title and is not listed as an MPN variant.
Second, distributor data feeds for the Dodge SC ball family carry a garbled temperature string reading “225 to 400 degrees F” that shows up verbatim on unrelated Dodge SC parts. That is a data artifact, not a Dodge rating, and it is not published here. The real operating range for a Dodge SC standard-duty ball unit is roughly −20 °F to 225 °F, governed by the nitrile contact seal and the grease, and 400 °F is not remotely achievable with either.
The insert is a wide-inner-ring ball bearing, which is the reason this unit tolerates a plain commercial shaft. The extended inner ring gives the setscrews somewhere to bite and gives the assembly enough length to resist the rocking couple that kills short-bore mounted bearings. The seal is a DualGuard single-lip nitrile contact seal working behind a rubberized flinger: the flinger throws off bulk liquid and debris before it reaches the lip, and the lip handles the fine stuff. That combination is why these units survive on machinery that gets hosed down occasionally, though it is not a substitute for a purpose-built washdown unit.
Non-expansion means the insert is axially located in the housing and the unit will hold shaft position. On a shaft carried by two units, one should be non-expansion to set position and the other should be an expansion type so thermal growth of the shaft has somewhere to go. Two non-expansion units on a long shaft in a hot environment will load themselves axially and shorten bearing life. The unit is relubricatable, so it has a service life beyond the factory grease charge rather than being a sealed throwaway.

The 4.59 in bolt center-to-center is the number to check first. Everything else about a flange unit can be worked around; a bolt spacing that does not match the existing holes cannot.
This listing sells the quantity shown at checkout. The prior title and the carton marking recorded “2 Pcs,” and that marking is noted here for completeness, but it is unverified against the physical stock on hand and we will not assert a pair quantity we cannot prove. If receiving two units matters to your job, message us before ordering and we will open the carton and confirm the count.
Check the shaft for the correct commercial tolerance and for burrs before sliding the unit on; a setscrew unit relies on the bore-to-shaft fit being reasonably close. Seat the housing flat against the mounting face before torquing the flange bolts, and torque them evenly — drawing one bolt down first can cock a one-piece cast housing and preload the insert. Set both setscrews progressively, alternating, and set them against the shaft directly rather than into a keyway edge. The setscrews are the only thing holding shaft position, so re-check them after the first few hours of running.
Dodge mounted bearings are now sold as Dodge Industrial under RBC Bearings, previously through Baldor and ABB, and originally Rexnord. Documentation you find under any of those names for F2B-SC-101 refers to this same part. Cross to the Dodge stock item number 124410 when searching distributor systems, since the dash pattern in the catalog number varies between vendors (F2B-SC-101, F2BSC101, F2B SC 101). Do not cross to F4B-SC-101 — that is the four-bolt housing, covered above.
