An SNR 22215 K.B33 double-row spherical roller bearing measuring 75 mm bore x 130 mm outside diameter x 31 mm wide. It has a 1:12 tapered bore, is open on both sides, and carries a lubrication groove with three holes through the outer ring. Spherical roller bearings carry very high radial load plus axial load in both directions, and the spherical outer raceway lets the inner-ring assembly swivel so the bearing self-aligns to shaft deflection or housing misalignment. Sold as 1 Pc.
222 — double-row spherical roller bearing, ISO dimension series 22.
15 — bore code; 15 x 5 = 75 mm bore.
K — tapered bore, taper 1:12.
B33 — SNR’s code for a lubrication groove and holes in the outer ring. It is the direct equivalent of the industry W33 code, which is why the title carries 22215KW33 as well.
No J-code clearance suffix — normal radial internal clearance. In SNR nomenclature the clearance would appear as J20 for C2, J30 for C3, J40 for C4 or J50 for C5; none is present here.
The tapered bore is the single most important thing to get right on this listing. A 1:12 taper is a mounting system, not a shaft fit. On a plain cylindrical shaft the bearing sits on an H315 adapter sleeve (or is withdrawn with an AH315 withdrawal sleeve), and the sleeve is what sets the interference: you drive the bearing up the taper until the internal clearance has been reduced by the amount the design calls for, then lock it with a KM15 locknut and MB15 lockwasher. Because the sleeve carries the shaft, the shaft seat under an H315 is 65 mm, not 75 mm. Alternatively the bearing mounts directly on a machined 1:12 tapered shaft seat with no sleeve. Either way, drive-up and residual clearance must be measured — driven too far up the taper the bearing is preloaded, runs hot and fails early.
Normal clearance on a tapered-bore bearing is worth a second look before you fit it. Drive-up deliberately consumes internal clearance, and starting from normal rather than C3 leaves a narrower usable window before the bearing goes into preload. It is the correct choice where the design specifies a light adapter fit and the bearing runs at roughly uniform temperature; if your position calls for a heavy fit or a hot inner ring, a J30 (C3) version gives you more to give away.
B33 only earns its keep if the housing has a matching grease feed. Line the housing port up with the outer ring groove and fresh grease is pushed straight into the centre of both roller rows, which is what lengthens relubrication intervals. Feed the bearing from the side instead and the groove does nothing.

One bearing per sale — 1 Pc. What ships is the complete non-separable bearing: inner ring with the 1:12 tapered bore, two rows of spherical rollers, cage and outer ring with the lubrication groove and three holes. The H315 adapter sleeve, AH315 withdrawal sleeve, KM15 locknut, MB15 lockwasher and housing are separate items and are not included. If your shaft is not already machined with a 1:12 taper, you need the sleeve to mount this bearing. New old stock, supplied in an opened box.
Measure the unmounted radial internal clearance with a feeler gauge before you start, then drive the bearing up the taper and re-measure until the clearance reduction matches the mounting table for the fit you want. With normal starting clearance the usable drive-up is modest, so work in small increments. Support and drive against the inner ring only; the outer ring swivels and will cock the rollers if used to drive the assembly. Align the housing grease port with the outer ring groove before final assembly. Keep the axial component well below the radial load: with Fa/Fr above e = 0.22 the unloaded roller row can lose contact and skid. Grease fill is typically 30–50% of free space.
The 75 x 130 x 31 mm 222-series envelope is industry-standard, and the tapered-bore version takes the same H315 sleeve across every brand. 22215KW33 is carried on this listing as the generic ISO form of exactly this configuration. Equivalents for a tapered-bore, relubricatable, normal-clearance 22215: NTN and NTN-SNR 22215 EAKW33 (the current ULTAGE generation of this bearing), SKF 22215 CCK/W33 or 22215 EK/W33, FAG 22215-E1-K, NSK 22215 CDKE4, Timken 22215 KEJW33, Koyo 22215RHKW33, RHP 22215 EKJW33. A version without the K suffix has a straight cylindrical bore and needs no sleeve; a version without B33 or W33 cannot be regreased through the housing; a brass-caged version carries EM in SNR and NTN nomenclature, CA in SKF, M or MB in FAG and CAM in NSK.
