An SKF 21310 EK/W33 double-row spherical roller bearing. Bore 50 mm on a 1:12 taper, outside diameter 110 mm, width 27 mm, open on both faces. Two rows of barrel-shaped rollers share one spherical raceway in the outer ring, so the inner ring and roller set swivel bodily inside the outer ring and the bearing carries load through shaft deflection and housing misalignment.
The 213 dimension series is the narrower of the spherical roller series, and the bore code 10 gives 50 mm. E marks the reinforced internal design, with larger rollers and higher capacity within the same envelope; it is the current designation where the earlier plain and C-cage forms are not. K specifies a 1:12 tapered bore, and W33 is the lubrication groove machined around the outer ring together with three radial feed holes through it. There is no clearance suffix, so radial internal clearance is normal, CN.
A tapered-bore spherical roller bearing seats on a matching 1:12 taper. On a plain cylindrical shaft that taper is provided by an adapter sleeve, which is a separate part. For a 50 mm bearing bore the sleeve is an H310, whose own shaft seat is 45 mm, supplied with a KM 10 locknut and an MB 10 lockwasher. Driving the bearing further up the sleeve reduces its radial internal clearance, which is how the mounted clearance is set to a measured figure rather than accepted as delivered.
A double-row spherical roller bearing carries very heavy radial load and takes thrust in both directions, and it tolerates misalignment as a normal service condition. The reinforced E design raises load rating and fatigue life against an older bearing of the same 50 x 110 x 27 mm envelope, which is what makes it a straight capacity upgrade on an existing housing. The 213 series keeps the axial width smaller than a 223 of the same bore, at a lower radial rating — the trade that suits a housing constrained in width. The W33 groove and holes let grease reach the rollers through the housing with the bearing in place.

Radial internal clearance is measured with a feeler at the unloaded roller row before mounting and again as the bearing is driven up the taper, and the reduction from the first figure is what sets the fit. The sleeve is locked with the KM nut and the MB washer tab, and the housing is drilled to register with one of the three W33 outer-ring holes.
Same-envelope 50 x 110 x 27 mm tapered-bore spherical rollers in reinforced designs include FAG 21310-E1-K-TVPB and NSK 21310EAKE4, both with lubrication groove and holes. The straight-bore SKF 21310 E/W33 shares the envelope but mounts directly on a cylindrical shaft with no sleeve, and the older 21310 CCK/W33 is a different internal design; both are related sizes rather than substitutions.
