A double-row spherical roller bearing on the 22214 envelope — 70 mm bore, 125 mm outside diameter, 31 mm width, straight bore, open. Two rows of barrel rollers share one spherical raceway ground into the outer ring, which lets the inner ring and roller assembly tilt inside the outer ring. The result is a bearing that carries very heavy radial load and moderate axial load in both directions while forgiving shaft deflection and non-coaxial housing bores.

No K in the designation, so the bore is cylindrical rather than 1:12 tapered.
70SD22 – Torrington’s own in-house catalogue number for the same bearing, carried on much of the older stock and on shop drawings from that era. 70 is the bore in millimetres and SD is Torrington’s spherical double-row family code.
Straight bore means this fits directly on a plain 70 mm shaft seat with an interference fit, with no adapter sleeve and no drive-up procedure — simpler to install than the tapered-bore K version and the right choice unless your shaft is actually tapered.
The W33 feature is worth understanding before you buy. It is a groove machined around the outside of the outer ring with three holes drilled inward to the raceway, so lubricant introduced through the housing arrives directly between the two roller rows rather than having to migrate in from the ends. That is how a spherical roller bearing gets relubricated on a schedule without dismantling the housing. It only functions if the housing has a lube port lined up on the groove, which split plummer blocks generally do and plain machined bores generally do not. A W33 bearing in a plain bore is not harmed, it simply loses the feature.
