A double-row spherical roller bearing on the 22209 envelope — 45 mm bore, 85 mm outside diameter, 23 mm width. Both rows of barrel rollers run against a single spherical raceway ground into the outer ring, so the inner ring and roller assembly can swivel inside the outer ring. That gives very high radial capacity together with tolerance of shaft deflection and housing seats that are not coaxial. This particular bearing is built with C4 internal clearance, which is wider than the more common C3.

W33 – annular lubrication groove around the outer ring with three radial holes into the raceway.
C4 is the reason to buy this specific bearing rather than the C3 or normal-clearance version, and it is not a general-purpose upgrade. Clearance gets consumed in service by two things: a heavy interference fit on the shaft, which expands the inner ring, and a hot inner ring relative to a cooler housing, which expands it further. Where both effects are large — kiln and dryer rolls, hot fans, heavily loaded mill and crusher shafts, bearings mounted on a driven taper with a big drive-up — a normal or C3 bearing arrives at operating temperature with no clearance left and preloads itself. C4 leaves headroom for that. Fit C4 into a cool, lightly fitted application and you get the opposite problem: a slack bearing whose rollers skid through the unloaded arc, which scuffs raceways and can be noisy. Match the clearance class to whatever came out of the machine.
There is no K in the designation, so the bore is cylindrical: press it onto a plain 45 mm shaft seat, no adapter sleeve and no drive-up measurement needed. The W33 groove and its three holes give a relubrication path straight through the outer ring, feeding both roller rows evenly, provided the housing has a lube port aligned on the groove.
