What this is
A FAG 22206ES.TVPB.C3 double-row spherical roller bearing — 30 mm bore, 62 mm outside diameter, 20 mm wide, straight bore. Two rows of barrel rollers sit on a common spherical raceway ground into the outer ring, which lets the inner ring and roller set swivel inside it. That is the whole point of the design: the bearing absorbs shaft misalignment and housing deflection that would destroy a cylindrical or ball bearing, while still carrying heavy radial load and axial load in both directions.
This one has the TVPB cage — a one-piece glass-fibre-reinforced polyamide window cage guided on the inner ring, visible in black through the wrap, rather than the pressed steel or machined brass used on other variants. It is the plain version with no W33 annular groove or lubrication holes in the outer ring. Original FAG carton marked Germany, batch 1K 029324, still in the factory wrap.
