An ADI 22220CKYC3W33 double-row spherical roller bearing with a 1:12 tapered bore, open on both faces, carrying a lubrication groove and three feed holes in the outer ring.

The two roller rows share a common spherical outer raceway, so the inner ring and roller set tilt within the outer ring and absorb shaft or housing misalignment. Two opposed contact lines carry thrust in both directions alongside heavy radial load. The 1:12 tapered bore seats on an adapter sleeve, and drawing the ring up the taper both grips a plain shaft without a machined seat and sets the running clearance to a measured figure. Mounting on a taper consumes internal clearance, which is why C3 is the standard pairing for a sleeve-mounted ring. The W33 groove and holes carry grease or oil through the housing directly into the roller path for relubrication in service.

A 22220 with a straight bore mounts directly on a machined shaft seat and needs no sleeve, and a 22220K in CN or C4 clearance is a different clearance grade, so all are related sizes rather than interchanges.
