A Nachi 22220EXKW33C3 double-row spherical roller bearing, 100 mm tapered bore by 180 mm outside diameter by 46 mm width. Two rows of barrel-shaped rollers run on a shared spherical outer raceway, so the bearing self-aligns while carrying very heavy radial load and axial load in both directions. It suits conveyor pulleys, vibrating screens, crushers, fans, gearboxes and general heavy plant.

The spherical outer raceway lets the inner ring and roller set swivel inside the outer ring, so a shaft running slightly out of line with its housing still loads the rollers evenly across their length. That is the property that makes the type standard on long conveyor shafts and fabricated screen frames.
Two opposed roller rows carry thrust in both directions as well as radial load, so a separate thrust bearing is usually unnecessary in the arrangement.
The EX design uses a larger and longer roller set within the same 100 x 180 x 46 mm envelope, which raises dynamic capacity against the older base design. It is a straight capacity gain in an unchanged mounting envelope.
The 1:12 tapered bore is a mounting feature. Drive-up distance along the taper sets the interference fit and therefore the residual internal clearance, giving repeatable clearance control on site with a lock nut and a feeler gauge. C3 clearance leaves extra room for thermal growth of the inner ring and for the interference the taper mounting creates, which is why it pairs naturally with a tapered bore.

One bearing ships. The adapter sleeve is not included — the tapered bore mounts on an H320 sleeve, which seats on a 90 mm cylindrical shaft, with a KM20 lock nut and MB20 lock washer. Housings, seals and locking hardware are supplied separately.
Mounting is a drive-up operation: the bearing advances along the taper until the measured reduction in radial internal clearance reaches the value tabulated for the size and clearance class, checked with a feeler gauge across the unloaded top roller. On a shaft machined with its own 1:12 seat the bearing mounts directly and a lock nut retains it. The housing lubrication port lines up with the outer-ring groove so grease reaches the centre of the roller set.
Same-specification equivalents are tapered-bore 22220 K spherical rollers at C3 clearance with W33 features: SKF 22220 EK/C3, FAG 22220E1K.C3, NSK 22220EAKE4C3, Timken 22220KEJW33C3, Koyo 22220RHRKW33C3. The straight-bore 22220EXW33C3 is a different part — it seats on a cylindrical shaft and takes no adapter sleeve.
