The FAG H3036 is a metric bearing adapter sleeve that mounts a 180 mm-bore, 1:12 tapered-bore bearing (self-aligning ball or spherical roller, e.g. 22236K / 23236K) onto a 160 mm (6.2992 in) smooth or stepped shaft. FAG is a Schaeffler brand.
The bearing is drawn up and clamped on the 1:12 tapered seat by an M180×3 locknut, letting it be fixed at any point along a plain shaft with no shoulder or shaft thread required.
