The two roller rows run on a common spherical outer raceway, so the inner ring and roller set can tilt within the outer ring and absorb shaft misalignment or housing misalignment that would destroy a cylindrical or tapered bearing. Two rows on opposed contact lines carry thrust in both directions as well as heavy radial load. The W33 groove and holes let grease or oil be fed through the housing straight into the roller path, which is what makes relubrication practical on a bearing that is expected to run for years in a dirty position. CN clearance is the standard fit for a straight bore on an interference shaft seat at normal running temperature.
