Each bearing is 45 mm bore, 75 mm outside diameter, 16 mm width, giving 32 mm total width across the pair. What these specs mean in practice

A 15° contact angle favours speed and radial stiffness over thrust capacity, which is the standard trade for a machine tool spindle. Light preload keeps ball contact defined with the least added friction and heat, giving the highest speed capability of the three standard preload grades.

The polyamide cage runs quietly, damps vibration and has a continuous service ceiling around 120 °C, above which the cage material governs the limit rather than the steel. Fitting notes

The marked ring faces go together in the orientation the factory grind was made for, clamped square against a rigid shoulder so the preload lands as designed. Clamping force passes through the rings, never through the balls. A universal-set bearing can also be arranged back-to-back, face-to-face or in tandem, and the arrangement chosen sets the resulting stiffness.
