The Link-Belt P3U230H is a two-bolt pillow block ball bearing unit with a 1-7/8 in bore and a cast iron housing, from Link-Belt’s 200-series standard-duty mounted ball bearing range. US-made new old stock.
A pillow block bolts to a horizontal surface alongside the shaft, carrying the shaft on a self-aligning insert bearing so it tolerates a degree of shaft misalignment and mounting-surface imperfection without binding – which is why they dominate conveyor, fan and general line-shaft work rather than precision spindles. The 200-series standard-duty units handle radial load or combined radial and thrust load and are specified for general industrial machinery, conveyors, chain and belt drives, fans, blowers and power transmission.
Link-Belt mounted bearings are now part of Regal Rexnord, so current equivalents cross to Rexnord part numbers.
Note that the P3U prefix designates a pillow block; Link-Belt flange units carry different prefixes, so confirm the mounting style you need before ordering.
