The Beckhoff AX5206-0000-0202 is a two-channel digital compact servo drive from the AX5000 family, rated 2 x 6 A continuous with 13 A peak per channel from a 3 x 100-480 V AC ±10% supply and a DC link up to 875 V DC.

What these specs mean in practice

Power supply unit, EMC filter and DC link capacitors are integrated, so no external components are needed to run it. Communication is over EtherCAT using the SERCOS drive profile to IEC 61800-7-204 (SoE), and the multi-feedback interface accepts SinCos 1 VPP, resolver, EnDat 2.1, HIPERFACE, BiSS B and OCT one-cable technology. Because the two channels are independent, their rated current can each be matched to the connected motor, and synchronous, linear, torque, asynchronous and voice-coil motors all connect without extra hardware. The AX-Bridge system links multiple AX5000 units into a multi-axis group sharing supply, DC link and 24 V DC control voltage.
