Lubrication feature

The D1 execution puts an annular lubrication groove and three radial holes in the outer ring. The groove and its three radial holes take lubricant from the housing lubrication port and distribute it circumferentially around the outer ring and inward to both roller rows. Other makers designate this feature W33, which the carton marking repeats.

Self-aligning behaviour

Two rows of barrel rollers share one spherical raceway in the outer ring, so the inner ring and roller set swivel inside the outer ring. The bearing accommodates static misalignment from housing bore variation and dynamic misalignment from shaft deflection under load, while carrying very high radial load with axial load in both directions.
