A Koyo 21314RKFY double-row spherical roller bearing, 70 mm bore, 150 mm outside diameter, 35 mm width. Tapered 1:12 bore, open, machined brass cage, asymmetric rollers, normal precision class, CN internal clearance.
213 is the double-row spherical roller bearing in the 13 dimension series, the narrower and higher-speed of the common spherical roller series. The bore code 14 gives 70 mm. R marks the Koyo design with asymmetric rollers and a machined brass cage. K is the 1:12 tapered bore.
Two roller rows share a spherical outer raceway, so the bearing self-aligns and tolerates shaft deflection and housing misalignment while carrying heavy radial load and thrust in both directions. The 13 series is narrower and lighter than the 22 or 23 series at the same bore, which raises the speed limit and lowers the load rating. A machined brass cage handles higher temperature and heavier shock than pressed steel.
The 1:12 tapered bore on a spherical roller bearing mounts on an adapter sleeve. The matching sleeve is an H2314, which fits a 65 mm plain shaft and is locked by a KM14 nut and MB14 washer. Driving the bearing further up the sleeve taper reduces radial internal clearance, so clearance is set at assembly by axial drive-up.
