A complete housed ball bearing unit in the wide two-bolt flange style, from the MB Krown Regal Centrik-Lok line. Bore is 1 in (25.4 mm), size code 205. The one-piece cast iron housing takes two mounting bolts. Locking is by a Centrik-Lok concentric collar, not a setscrew and not an eccentric cam.

The Centrik-Lok collar grips concentrically rather than eccentrically, so it clamps the shaft on a full circumference instead of wedging on one side. Concentric clamping keeps the shaft centred to the bearing bore, which suits reversing drives and shafts where runout matters, and it holds without the setscrew indentations that a setscrew unit leaves on the shaft. The wide inner ring gives a longer bearing seat than the narrow FC22 series, raising the load capacity.

The flange seats against a flat rigid face, shimmed where uneven, on two 7/16 in fasteners at 3-57/64 in centres. The flange bolts are drawn down first so the insert settles into its aligned seat, then the Centrik-Lok collar is clamped onto the shaft. Shaft seat is a commercial ground 1.000 in diameter.
The 3-57/64 in two-bolt flange pattern in 1 in bore is shared with Link-Belt FX3Y216N, NTN UELFL205-100 and Asahi UELFL205-100, so the mounting geometry interchanges. Those units use eccentric cam or setscrew locking rather than a concentric collar, so the insert and collar do not interchange. The four-bolt Rexnord KFC4451 and the narrow-insert FC2251 are related sizes in the same scheme rather than interchanges. The Centrik-Lok collar is a Rexnord patented design, so no other brand publishes a same-spec locking equivalent.
