Fitting notes

Radial internal clearance is set on assembly by how far the inner ring is driven up the 1:12 taper, so the mounted clearance is a function of drive-up rather than of the bore fit alone. The W33 groove aligns with the housing relubrication port. The outer ring carries no axial load and floats in the housing unless the shaft is located elsewhere. Both rings are one piece, so the inner ring and roller set separate from the outer for mounting.
