An SKF NN 3012 K double-row cylindrical roller bearing with a 60 mm tapered bore, a 95 mm outside diameter and a 26 mm width. It is a precision spindle bearing with a machined brass cage.
NN: double-row cylindrical roller design, rollers guided by the inner ring, outer ring ribless. 3012: 30 series, 60 mm bore, 95 mm OD, 26 mm width. A: SKF internal design variant. K: 1:12 tapered bore. M: machined brass cage. P5: precision class 5, equivalent to ABEC 5. C481: SKF special-execution code, retained as a search term.
Two rows of cylindrical rollers give this bearing very high radial load capacity and high radial rigidity in a narrow section, which is why it is the standard front bearing in grinding and turning spindles. The design is non-locating: the ribless outer ring lets the shaft expand axially inside the bearing, so axial location is taken by a separate thrust or angular contact bearing at the other end of the spindle. Substituting a locating cylindrical design such as NJ or NUP changes that behaviour, and substituting a plain cylindrical NU removes the second row of load capacity.

The 1:12 tapered bore seats directly on a matching tapered spindle journal. This design does not use an adapter sleeve.
Genuine equivalents are P5 double-row tapered-bore cylindrical roller bearings in the same 60x95x26 mm envelope with a machined cage: FAG NN3012-AS-K-M-SP, NSK NN3012TBKRE44CC1P4 and Nachi NN3012K. The straight-bore NN 3012 without the K suffix is a related size, not an interchange, because it needs a cylindrical shaft seat and offers no clearance adjustment.
