MRC 7114KRDTDB, an angular contact ball bearing set. Bore: 70 mm. Outside Diameter: 110 mm. Width: 20 mm. Contact Angle: 15°. Outer Ring Form: counterbored. Arrangement: universally ground for back-to-back or tandem mounting. Bore Form: straight. Number of Rows: 1 per bearing.
The envelope is the ISO 7014 size, so the bearings drop into a housing and shaft already machined for a 70 x 110 x 20 mm angular contact bearing.
7 — MRC’s angular contact ball bearing series. The leading 7 identifies the family and carries no contact-angle information.
1114 — the 71xx dimension block; 7114 is the 70 mm bore in that block and lands on the ISO 7014 envelope.
KR — MRC’s R-type execution: 15° contact angle with a counterbored outer ring.
DT — tandem. Two bearings facing the same direction, sharing thrust in one direction.
DB — back-to-back. Two bearings with their load lines diverging outward, taking thrust in both directions.
Contact Angle: 15°. The shallow angle is the high-speed end of the angular contact range: less thrust capacity per unit of radial load than a 25° or 29° bearing, and a higher speed limit and lower heat generation in exchange. At a 70 mm bore that trade matters, because rolling-element centrifugal load rises steeply with size.
Section: 70 x 110 x 20 mm is the light 70-series section. A 72-series bearing on the same 70 mm bore runs a larger outside diameter and a wider section, carries more load and turns more slowly. The 70-series section here is the choice where radial space is tight and speed matters more than capacity.
Arrangement: universally ground. The ring faces are ground so that any two bearings from the range butt together and reach the intended preload with no shim and no measurement at assembly. That is why DT and DB both appear on the same set — the pair serves either arrangement.
Bore: 70 mm, straight. Outside Diameter: 110 mm. Width per Bearing: 20 mm. Total Width of the Pair: 40 mm.
Back-to-back mounting separates the two load lines along the shaft, which is the arrangement for resisting a tilting moment. Tandem mounting places both load lines parallel and doubles thrust capacity in one direction.
Unit Quantity: 2 Pcs. A matched pair of single-row bearings.
The 70 x 110 x 20 mm envelope is the ISO 7014 size, so an SKF 7014 CD, an FAG B7014-C-T-P4S, an NSK 7014C, an RHP 7014 C and a Fafnir 2MM9114WI all match on boundary dimensions and on the 15° angle. A 7014 A, AC or E execution is the same envelope at 25° or 30° and is a related size rather than a substitution, because changing the angle changes both the thrust-to-speed balance and the preload a matched pair develops. Within MRC, 7113KR is the 65 mm bore and 7115KR the 75 mm bore in the same block.
