Compact 100 bar piezoresistive pressure transmitter with a 4–20 mA two-wire output, internal diaphragm and fully welded stainless steel wetted parts in a stainless case. Linearity including hysteresis within 0.2% of full scale, zero and span each adjustable by about ±5%, response under 20 ms, IP65. Media to 80 °C, ambient −25 to 70 °C. This is the standard version — order code digit 0 means no Ex approval, so it is not for use in a hazardous area.

This is a Labom COMPACT series pressure transmitter with a 100 bar range, a piezoresistive sensing element and a 4–20 mA two-wire output. It converts process pressure into a load-independent current signal for a PLC analog input, a panel indicator or a control loop. The wetted parts are stainless steel and fully welded, the case is stainless steel, and it is built for tough process service rather than clean laboratory duty.
Hazardous-area certification: this unit is the non-Ex version:
Read this before anything else, because on a pressure transmitter it is often the entire buying criterion, and it is decided by a single digit in the order code.
The Labom order code for this series runs CB601x, where the final digit selects explosion protection: 0 = without Ex protection, 1 = II 2G Ex ib IIC T6 Gb intrinsically safe to ATEX under TUV 00 ATEX 1557 X. This unit is CB6010. The final digit is 0, so this is the standard, non-Ex transmitter.
That means it is not certified for installation in a classified hazardous area, and it must not be substituted for an Ex ib unit in a Zone 1 or Zone 2 installation. If your loop diagram calls for an intrinsically safe transmitter behind a barrier, the part you need is CB6011, not this one. If your application is general industrial — hydraulics, machine tools, water and general process plant outside a classified area — this is the correct and usual version, and you are not paying for certification you do not need.
CB – Labom COMPACT pressure transmitter with an internal diaphragm. The parallel CE series (CE611x / CE612x) is the flush-mounted diaphragm version for dead-zone-free measurement on viscous or solids-bearing media. CB and CE are not interchangeable in a process connection.601 – internal diaphragm, media temperature up to 80 °C. The CB602x variant is the same body rated for media up to 140 °C.0 – explosion protection: without (see above)
Range, process connection, output and options are specified by further order blocks — H1 designates the 4–20 mA two-wire output, and K-codes designate the process thread (K1002 = G1/4 B per EN 837-1, K1010 = G1/2 B, K1024 = G1/4 A). Read the actual thread from the photographs and from the unit before you order a fitting; do not assume.
Also written CB-6010, CB 6010 and, at series level, CB60.. / CB60xx.

The device has no emission of its own.Series options, not confirmed present on this unit: SIL 2 classification per EN 61508, GL / DNV GL marine approval, gold-coated sensor diaphragm for hydrogen service, hydrogen resistance certificate per EN 10204-3.1
Two-wire 4–20 mA is the most forgiving analog interface there is: two conductors carry both power and signal, the current loop is immune to voltage drop over long cable runs, and a broken wire reads as 0 mA rather than as a plausible pressure. That is why this style of transmitter is still specified for new work.
Separately adjustable zero and span, at roughly ±5% of full scale, is more useful than it sounds on a surplus unit. It lets you trim out a small offset from a different mounting height or a slightly different reference without recalibrating the loop in software, and it lets you match the transmitter to an existing indicator that was scaled for the original installation.
Linearity within 0.2% of full scale on a 100 bar range means about ±0.2 bar across the span — appropriate for pressure control, pump and compressor monitoring, hydraulic system supervision and general process work. It is not a laboratory reference standard and should not be used as one.
The completely welded stainless wetted section is what makes this transmitter suitable for chemical and petrochemical service, shipping and general process engineering. No elastomer seal in the pressure path means no compatibility question about the seal material and no seal to swell or extrude.
IP65 as standard is dust-tight and protected against water jets, which is fine for a plant interior or a covered installation. If the transmitter will be washed down or sit outdoors, the series offers IP67 — check the label on this unit rather than assuming, because IP65 is the standard build.
Transmitter only, one unit. Not supplied: the mating process fitting, adaptor or gasket; a temperature decoupler (this is the separate accessory that lets the series see 140 °C briefly during sterilisation — without one, respect the 80 °C media limit); the electrical connector or cable and gland, depending on what termination style this unit carries; the loop power supply; an intrinsic safety barrier (irrelevant here — this is a non-Ex unit); the MF21xx flame arrester used for Zone 0 connection on Ex versions; a calibration certificate; and any bracket or mounting hardware. Check the photographs for exactly what is on the unit.
Confirm the process thread from the unit before ordering fittings — the series is offered in G1/4 B, G1/2 B and G1/4 A among others, and they are not interchangeable. Observe polarity on a two-wire loop and check the supply voltage the loop can deliver at 20 mA. Mount so the diaphragm is not the low point where condensate or debris collects, and use a syphon or cooling element rather than exceeding the 80 °C media limit if the medium is hot. Trim zero with the process vented to atmosphere, then set span; doing it the other way round means doing zero twice. Because this is surplus, verify the reading against a known gauge before you trust it in a control loop.
Search forms include CB6010, CB-6010, CB 6010, Labom CB60 and CB60xx. Within the family, treat these as related models rather than equivalents: CB6011 is the intrinsically safe Ex ib version of this transmitter and is what you need for a classified area; CB6020 / CB6021 are the 140 °C media variants; CE6110 / CE6111 and CE6120 / CE6121 are the flush-diaphragm versions. Range and process connection are separately coded, so two units both marked CB6010 can still differ in range and thread — match the range as well as the model. Labom GmbH is a German manufacturer and the CB60 / CE61 COMPACT series remains a current catalogue line, so a like-for-like new unit is available if you need to match an existing loop exactly.
