A General Electric 193X701BBG02 Coordination Board. It belongs to GE’s 193X family of plug-in control cards used in GE industrial drive and process control cabinets, and its role is coordination: it acts as the control and interface card that sequences the drive’s regulator cards and ties them together into one working system.
It is one plug-in card out of a cardset in a GE drive or control cabinet, and it functions in that cabinet alongside the regulator, field control and firing cards it was designed to work with. It handles logic-level signals and does not switch motor power.
193X: GE’s drawing prefix for this generation of plug-in control and regulator cards. The 193X family covers coordination, field control, firing, regulator and interface functions, and cards from within it are not interchangeable with one another. 701: the board drawing number, which fixes the function as coordination. BB: drawing revision letters. G02: group / variant number. G01, G02 and G03 of the same board are built for different cabinet configurations and firmware.
In a multi-card GE drive, the speed regulator, the current or armature regulator, the field control card and the firing circuits each perform one function, and the coordination board arbitrates between them: enable and disable in the right order, hand-off between regulating modes, and propagation of a fault condition so the whole drive trips together rather than one card at a time.
Function: coordination board / control and interface card. Family: GE 193X series plug-in control cards. Series: 193X. Base number: 193X701. Application: GE industrial drive and control cabinets. Signal level: logic-level control and interface, not a power-switching stage. Form factor: plug-in printed circuit card, cabinet card rack. Material: printed circuit card assembly. Quantity: one plug-in card. GE part number: 193X701BBG02. Country of manufacture: United States.
Mounting type: plug-in card in a GE cabinet card rack. Connection: backplane, ribbon and terminal connections. Configuration: hardware jumpers or links rather than software.
The whole string, letters and G-number included, identifies the card. Other 193X cards perform different functions; 193X532 is a motor field control card, a separate role. Also written 193X-701BBG02, 193X-701BB-G02, 193X701BB G02, 193X 701 BB G02 and 193X701BBG2. The GE number marked on the board itself is the ordering reference.
