The Dodge FC-S2-300 is an S-2000 Series piloted-flange mounted spherical roller bearing unit with a 3 in (76.20 mm) bore, built on Dodge’s self-aligning 222-series double-row spherical roller insert (222KZ300T). The one-piece cast iron piloted-flange housing registers into a machined bore for precise, repeatable alignment and carries dynamic/static load ratings of 41,500 lbf (184.6 kN) and 53,000 lbf (235.8 kN) at a maximum speed of 1,490 rpm. Shaft locking is by setscrew (65° locking device), the insert is sealed with triple-lip contact seals, and the unit is relubricatable through a standard grease fitting over a -29 to 121 °C (-20 to 250 °F) operating range. Flange envelope is 8-3/4 in (222.25 mm) OD on a 7-1/2 in (190.5 mm) bolt circle, 3.59 in (91.2 mm) depth. Handed variants ship as FC-S2-300R (Dodge 070658) and FC-S2-300L (070712); Dodge is now part of RBC / Dodge Industrial. Also written FCS2300, FC S2 300, 222KZ300T. Common on fans, blowers, conveyors, and heavy mechanical drives requiring self-alignment and high radial capacity.
