The ifm OT5009 is the receiver half of a through-beam photoelectric sensor pair, in a compact rectangular housing with side-sensing optics. It switches a PNP output when the infrared beam from a matching ifm OT-series transmitter is made or broken, with sensitivity set by potentiometer and a programmable light-on/dark-on mode.
