What this part is

Siemens SIMODRIVE 611 power module — the axis inverter stage of a 611 drive stack. It takes DC from the common DC link and inverts it to three-phase PWM output to drive one or more servo axes. Line rectification and DC-link charging are handled by a separate line-supply / infeed module in the 6SN114x range.

Supplied with a 6SN1118-0AA11-0AA0 closed-loop control plug-in card fitted in the module’s front slot. The power module carries the power stage; the plug-in card carries the regulation, setpoint interface and encoder inputs.
