What these specs mean in practice

The spherical outer raceway lets the inner ring and roller set swivel inside the outer ring, so a shaft running slightly out of line with its housing still loads the rollers evenly across their length. Long conveyor shafts and fabricated frames rarely hold better alignment than that, which is why this bearing type dominates there.

Two opposed roller rows carry axial load in both directions as well as radial load, so a separate thrust bearing is usually unnecessary in the arrangement.

Fitting notes
