What these figures mean in practice
A single row of barrel rollers is a radial bearing: it carries high radial load and accommodates static and dynamic misalignment of the shaft relative to the housing, while axial location of the shaft is taken elsewhere in the arrangement. Compared with a double row spherical roller of the same envelope, the single row barrel is shallower, lighter and lower in cost, and suits arrangements where radial load and misalignment are the whole requirement.

The static rating of 215,000 N reads above the dynamic rating of 184,000 N. That is the published relationship for a line-contact roller bearing of this size, where the long contact between roller and raceway gives a very high resistance to permanent deformation under a stationary load, and it is not a transposition of the two figures.

A machined brass cage tolerates higher temperature and more shock and vibration than a pressed steel cage and stays dimensionally stable under sustained load. Changing the cage code changes the speed and temperature rating.
