An SNFA VEX50 7CE1 DUL super-precision angular contact ball bearing set, supplied as a universally matchable duplex pair at light preload. Bore 50 mm, outside diameter 80 mm, 16 mm width per bearing and 32 mm across the mounted pair. Open on both faces, straight bore, one row of steel balls per bearing, machined phenolic cage guided on the outer ring.
VEX is SNFA’s high-speed E design in the ISO 70xx dimension series, so a VEX50 occupies the 7010 envelope. The 7 gives the ABEC 7 tolerance class, equivalent to P4. CE1 denotes a 15° contact angle, where CE3 would be 25°. DUL denotes a duplex universal set at light preload. SNFA is part of the SKF Group.
The high-speed E design uses a larger complement of smaller balls than a standard 7010. That trades load rating away for speed: the limiting speed reaches 25,000 r/min on grease and 38,000 r/min on oil, against roughly 19,000 r/min for a conventional 7010 of the same envelope. A 15° contact angle reinforces the same bias toward speed and radial rigidity over thrust. Light preload keeps friction and heat generation to the minimum consistent with zero clearance, which is what allows those speeds to be reached at all. The machined phenolic cage is light and self-lubricating and suits the same duty.
Each bearing carries a basic dynamic radial rating of 15.6 kN and a basic static radial rating of 10.6 kN, with a fatigue load limit of 0.45 kN. Mounted as the duplex pair the standard factors give 25.3 kN dynamic and 21.2 kN static.
Two bearings, one universally matchable duplex pair, 2 Pcs. The ring faces are ground so that the pair mounts back-to-back, face-to-face or in tandem, and the light preload is produced when the faces are clamped.
Published operating range is −30 °C to 120 °C, on oil or grease. Preloaded sets carry no internal clearance specification. The ring faces are the preload reference surfaces and are clamped square against the shoulder.
The direct envelope equivalents are the SKF 7010 CD/P4ADGA and NSK 7010CTYNDULP4 at 15° and light preload, and the SKF VEB 50 /NS 7CE1 is the 719-series counterpart. Those conventional 7010 executions carry a higher load rating and a lower speed, so they match the envelope rather than the high-speed duty. A VEX50 7CE3 is a related size at 25°, and a single VEX50 7CE1 is a related size rather than a substitute for the pair.
