A super-precision angular contact ball bearing in the 7010 size, supplied as a factory-matched duplex pair. Bore 50 mm, outside diameter 80 mm, width 16 mm per bearing.
7010 — ISO angular contact 70-series: 50 mm bore, 80 mm outside diameter, 16 mm width. The 70 series is the light section, thinner in cross-section than a 72-series bearing on the same bore.
E — 25° contact angle in the RHP scheme, matching the X3 suffix in the RHP B-series numbering.
T — phenolic laminated-fabric cage.
DUL — duplex universal pair, light preload.
P4 — ABEC 7 precision class.
The 25° contact angle carries appreciably more thrust and gives greater axial stiffness than the 15° variant of this envelope, in exchange for a lower speed limit and more heat. The light 70-series section keeps the outside diameter and rotating mass down for a 50 mm shaft, which is what makes the combination usable at spindle speeds. Light preload sits at the low-friction, low-temperature-rise end of the three preload grades.
2 Pcs — one matched duplex pair. Universal grinding allows the pair to be assembled back-to-back, face-to-face or in tandem.
The preload is ground into the ring faces and is realised only when both inner rings and both outer rings are clamped solidly against their seats. Alignment marks on the outer ring faces set the intended arrangement.
The RHP B-series equivalent is B7010X3TADULEP7. Same-envelope 7010 bearings at a 15° contact angle, or at medium or heavy preload, are related sizes rather than interchanges. A 7210 is a heavier section on the same 50 mm bore, not a substitute.
