The D suffix on a Timken cup number marks a double cup. 67920 is the cup base number, and the CD designation identifies this double-cup form of it.
A double cup puts two rows of tapered rollers into one housing bore with one press fit instead of two, and it fixes the row spacing at manufacture rather than leaving it to be shimmed. Two opposed rows carry thrust in both directions and resist moment loading, which is why this arrangement is used where a single row would let a shaft tilt under offset load.

The double cup is pressed into the housing bore on the cup face rather than the raceway, seated square against its shoulder, and drawn in evenly across the 3-1/4 in seat. Each cone is then fitted to its own shaft seat and the assembly set to running clearance.
The cup base number is 67920. A single 67920 cup is a different part from this double cup and takes one cone rather than two, so the two are not interchangeable in either direction.
