42350 is the inch-series cone number; the mating cup carries its own number in the same family. The 4T prefix is an NTN material and design designation covering case-carburised high-grade bearing steel, applied to the part rather than identifying a different component.
Bore 3.5000 in (88.900 mm), straight bore, single row. A tapered roller geometry carries heavy radial load together with thrust in one direction, the split depending on the raceway angle. Two rows mounted opposed take thrust both ways and allow the running clearance to be set on assembly.
