A reed relay output is a set of voltage-free mechanical contacts. Seats in a Series Six I/O rack and draws its logic power from that rack’s supply — add its current draw to your rack budget before you fill the last slots. Field wiring lands on the faceplate terminals; the load’s own supply is external to the module. Because these are mechanical contacts, fit arc suppression across inductive loads and derate the expected contact life accordingly.
