Reed relay output module for GE Fanuc Series Six PLC I/O racks — 6 dry-contact outputs. Voltage-free relay contacts, so each point can switch AC or DC and its own separate voltage, which is what you want for interposing relays, annunciators and low-level or mixed-voltage loads. Occupies one Series Six I/O rack slot. Sold as 1 piece.

A GE Fanuc Series Six Reed Relay Output Module, catalogue number IC600BF914K. It is a discrete output module for the Series Six I/O rack, and it switches loads through reed relay contacts rather than through a solid-state transistor or triac. The published module count is six output points.
IC600 — GE Fanuc Series Six product lineBF — board with faceplate. The same circuit board supplied bare is the YB914 and the faceplate alone is the FP914, so BF914 = board plus faceplate as one saleable assembly.914 — Reed Relay Output, per the GE Fanuc Series Six module catalogueK — revision suffix. A unit with an equal or higher alpha suffix is a direct replacement for one with a lower suffix, so a K supersedes A through J.
Why buyers choose a reed relay output over a solid-state one:
A reed relay output is a set of voltage-free mechanical contacts. There is no leakage current when off, no minimum load, and no fixed rail voltage baked into the module — each point can be wired to whatever your load needs, AC or DC, and different points can run different voltages. That makes it the module of choice for driving interposing relays, contactor coils, annunciator lamps, chart recorders, instrument inputs and any load a triac’s off-state leakage would falsely trigger. The trade-off is mechanical: contact life is finite, switching speed is slower than solid state, and inductive loads want a snubber or freewheel diode across the coil.

Seats in a Series Six I/O rack and draws its logic power from that rack’s supply — add its current draw to your rack budget before you fill the last slots. Field wiring lands on the faceplate terminals; the load’s own supply is external to the module. Because these are mechanical contacts, fit arc suppression across inductive loads and derate the expected contact life accordingly. Use the extraction/insertion tool furnished with the CPU rather than levering the module by its faceplate.
One module, board with faceplate. The I/O rack, rack power supply, field wiring, terminal screws, interposing relays and any suppression components are not included.
Direct replacement for lower-suffix IC600BF914 modules. IC600YB914 is the same circuit board without a faceplate, so it is a related item rather than a drop-in for a BF914 unless you already have the faceplate. The other Series Six 9xx output modules are different output technologies and are not interchangeable: BF921 and BF923 are 24 V and 48 V DC sink outputs, BF924 is 115 V AC, BF929 and BF930 are 115 V and 230 V AC isolated, BF941 is a 0 to 10 V DC analog output. Also written IC600-BF914K, IC600 BF914K, IC6OOBF914 (letter O for zero) and BF914K.
