A Dodge P2B-GT-100 mounted ball bearing unit — a two-bolt pillow block, not a flange unit. The cast iron housing carries a Grip-Tight ball insert that grips a 1 inch shaft concentrically through a full 360°, so the shaft is located without a setscrew flat or an eccentric collar.
P2B = Dodge two-bolt pillow block housing. GT = Grip-Tight adapter-mounted locking system. 100 = 1 inch bore. 129157 is the Dodge/Baldor part number for this exact configuration.
Earlier copy described this as a flange mount bearing. A Dodge P2B is a pillow block — it bolts to a horizontal surface below the shaft on two bolts. If you need a flange, the Dodge equivalents are F2B (two-bolt) and F4B (four-bolt); they are different housings and will not interchange with this one.

Grip-Tight is the reason to choose this over a setscrew block. The concentric grip means no shaft indentation, no fretting from a single point load, and the unit can be removed and reset on the same shaft. It also runs truer than a setscrew insert, which matters on faster or vibration-sensitive drives such as fans and conveyor head shafts.
Non-expansion means this unit takes thrust and locates the shaft axially. On a two-block installation only one bearing should be a locating bearing – the other end wants an expansion unit or a wider clearance seat so thermal growth has somewhere to go.
Sold as one complete unit — housing, ball insert and locking adapter assembled. No mounting bolts included.
Shim the block so the two bolt holes sit flat; the slotted base gives you the alignment range noted above. Tighten the Grip-Tight adapter to the Dodge torque figure – under-torque lets the insert creep on the shaft, over-torque distorts the inner ring. Fill the grease path before running.
Same-envelope two-bolt pillow blocks from SealMaster (MP/NP series), Link-Belt (P3U/PB) and Browning (VF) exist in a 1 inch bore, but bolt centres and centre height differ by maker, so confirm both dimensions before treating one as a drop-in. Dodge SC and S2000 blocks are also two-bolt but use different inserts — the SC uses a setscrew ball insert, and the S-2000 uses a double-row spherical roller insert.
