A Siemens Simodrive 611 power module for one axis: the inverter power stage that takes DC from the drive group’s shared DC link and switches it into three-phase output for a servo motor. In this listing it comes with a PWM module fitted — the plug-in card that receives the pulse-width-modulation firing pattern from the closed-loop control module and drives the power stage’s gates.
A power module is not a control module and not an infeed. It contains no speed or position regulator of its own, and it does not rectify mains. It needs an infeed / line supply module (I/R or UI) upstream to make the DC link, and a closed-loop control module to tell it what to do.
6SN1 — Siemens Simodrive 611 drive system6SN112x — power module (inverter stage) within that system-1AA00 — single-axis power module, internal cooling variant-0DA0 — the current rating class; the final characters are what set the amperage, so -0DA0, -0DA1 and -0DA2 are different ratings on the same body

Note that the module has several current figures and they are not interchangeable. The 80 A rated power module current is the stage’s own capability; what matters for sizing is the motor-specific figure — 40 A with a 1FT5, 28 A with a 1FT6, 30 A on an asynchronous main-spindle motor. Size against the motor family you actually have, not the headline 80 A, or the drive will trip on overload long before it reaches the number on the datasheet.
Internal cooling means the heat leaves through the module’s own fan and heatsink into the cabinet, so the cabinet has to be able to take it; the external-cooling variants of this family exhaust through a cut-out in the cabinet wall and are not mechanically interchangeable with an internally cooled installation. The PWM module being present matters too: a power module supplied without one cannot be commanded, and the PWM card version must match the closed-loop control generation.
Sold as one power module with the PWM module fitted.
No infeed, line supply or I/R module and no DC link jumper bars or link modules. No closed-loop control module or option cards beyond the PWM module described. No mains contactor, line reactor or line filter. No motor power or encoder cables, no connector kits or terminal blocks. No braking resistor or pulsed resistor module. No 24 V control supply. No mounting hardware, no documentation and no software or drive parameter set.
Confirm the DC link bar arrangement and the module width against the existing group before ordering; Simodrive 611 groups are assembled left to right in a fixed order with the infeed at one end, and the link bars are cut to suit. Discharge the DC link and wait for the capacitors to bleed before touching bus bars. After fitting, check the PWM card version against the control module and re-run drive commissioning; a mechanically correct power module with the wrong current class in the parameters will misbehave under load rather than fail cleanly.
6SN1123-1AA00-0DA0 and 6SN11231AA000DA0 are the same order code. 6SN1123-1AA00-0DA1 and -0DA2 are the same single-axis internally cooled body in different current classes — related sizes, not substitutes, and fitting the wrong class will produce nuisance trips or an underused drive. 6SN1123-1AB00 and similar suffixes are the external-cooling and multi-axis variants. Simodrive 611 modules only interchange within the Simodrive 611 system; they are not compatible with Simodrive 610 / 6SC61xx equipment or with later Sinamics drives.
