A FAG 3214-B double-row angular contact ball bearing, 70 mm bore x 125 mm outside diameter x 39.7 mm wide. Two rows of balls run in a single pair of rings at opposing contact angles, so one bearing does the job of a back-to-back duplex pair: it takes heavy radial load and thrust in both directions, and it locates the shaft axially on its own.
32 – FAG double-row angular contact ball bearing series. This is the digit that matters most: a 32xx is double row, while a 72xx is single row.

CJ and H – supplementary cage and build codes carried on this carton. They are not part of Schaeffler’s current published suffix scheme, so they are retained here as searchable references rather than published as specifications.
A double-row angular contact bearing is what you fit when the shaft needs to be located both ways, the thrust reverses, and there is no room or no appetite for two separate bearings and a preload stack. Because the two rows sit at opposing 25° angles inside one set of rings, the bearing also resists tilting moments — which single-row bearings cannot do on their own. That makes it the standard choice for pump and blower shafts, worm gear and bevel pinion positions, machine tool feed screws, and any short overhung shaft that has to stay square under load.
25° is the middle of the range: more thrust capacity and axial stiffness than a 15° bearing, more speed capability and less heat than a 40°. The trade against a matched pair of singles is adjustability — a double-row bearing arrives with its internal clearance set at the factory and cannot be preloaded at assembly, so you get simplicity instead of tunability.

Sold as one bearing — a single complete double-row unit with both ball rows, inner ring, outer ring and cage. Nothing else is needed to locate a shaft in both directions; there is no partner bearing to match and no spacer or locknut included.
Press or induction-heat onto the shaft against the inner ring only, and press into the housing against the outer ring only — never route mounting force through the balls or from one ring through the bearing to the other. Because the bearing locates the shaft axially, it must be clamped against a shoulder and secured; leave it floating and it will fret its seats. Do not attempt to adjust internal clearance by pinching the rings: on a double-row bearing the clearance is set at manufacture and pinching simply destroys it. The bearing is open, so it relies entirely on the housing for sealing and retains only the grease you put in it.
The current Schaeffler designation for this bearing is FAG 3214-B-TVH (TVH is the glass-fibre-reinforced polyamide window cage) with 3214-B-TVH-C3 as the wider-clearance version. Same-envelope 70 x 125 x 39.7 mm double-row angular contact equivalents: SKF 3214 A and 3214 ATN9, NSK 3214B, NTN 5214 (NTN uses the 52xx series for double-row angular contact — same envelope, different numbering scheme), Koyo 5214, Nachi 5214, MRC 5214. The 5214 forms are correct dimensional cross-references and buyers frequently search them, so they are carried here; note only that cage material and internal clearance vary between makers, and match those to your original if the application is hot or heavily loaded. Sealed versions of the same envelope — 3214-B-2RSR-TVH and 3214-B-2Z-TVH — are the same bearing with rubber seals or steel shields, so they fit the same seats but change the sealing and the speed limit.
