This is a FANUC Alpha-series Power Supply Module, model PSM-30 — the infeed of an Alpha drive stack. It rectifies the three-phase incoming supply into the common DC link that the servo amplifier modules (SVM) and spindle amplifier module (SPM) sit on, and it handles regenerative energy back to the line. It is not an axis power module and it does not drive a motor: nothing moves without an SVM or SPM bolted alongside it on the same DC bus. Getting this tier right matters, because a PSM and an SVM look similar on a shelf and are not interchangeable.
A06B — FANUC’s prefix block for servo and spindle drive hardware.
-6087 — the Alpha-series Power Supply Module (PSM) family.
-H130 — the frame and rating specification: this is the PSM-30, the 30 kW-class frame rated 35 kW output. The H-number is the field to match; an H100 or H150 in the same family is a different kW rating and a different cabinet width.
Nameplate designation reads PSM-30 / MDL PSM-30. Reference manual: FANUC B-65162E.
Input: 3-phase 200–230 VAC, 50/60 Hz
Rated input current: 127 A at 200 V
Rated output: 35 kW
DC link output: 283–325 VDC
Efficiency: approximately 96%
Power stage: three 400 A transistor modules
Dimensions: 150 mm W x 380 mm H x 307 mm D
Weight: approximately 10.7 kg (record notes 24 lb as shipped)
Cooling: external heatsink with internal and external fans
35 kW is a large infeed — it is sized for a machining centre or turning centre carrying a big spindle plus several axes off one DC link, not for a single small axis. The 127 A input figure is what your upstream breaker, isolation transformer and cable have to support, and it is quoted at 200 V, so it rises as the line sags. The 283–325 VDC link voltage is the number to check against the amplifiers you intend to run: SVM and SPM modules of the same generation expect that band, which is why PSM, SVM and SPM are matched as a set rather than mixed across drive generations. The 96% efficiency and the fan-plus-heatsink construction are the reason cabinet airflow is a real commissioning item on this frame and not a formality.
One PSM-30 module ships. No servo amplifier modules, no spindle amplifier, no DC-link busbars or jumper bars, no connector kit, no fuses, no input reactor or isolation transformer, no cables and no manual are included. Alpha stacks are assembled from separately-ordered modules and link hardware; plan to reuse what is already in the cabinet.
The DC link holds a lethal charge after the supply is removed — isolate, lock out, then wait for the bus to discharge and verify with a meter before touching busbars or terminals. Bond the module to the cabinet ground plane; the Alpha stack relies on a low-impedance common ground for its interlock and alarm signalling. Keep the module’s cooling path clear top and bottom, and check the external fan turns freely before power-up, since an overheat trip on a PSM drops the entire machine, not one axis. Confirm the emergency-stop and MCC contactor interlock wiring to the PSM before the first energisation.
Searched as A06B-6087-H130, A06B6087H130, A06B 6087 H130, A06B-6087-H130-R, PSM-30, PSM30 and MDL PSM-30. Commonly found on machines running FANUC 16i / 18i / 21i controls in both T (turning) and M (milling) variants, including 16iTA, 16iMA, 18iTA, 18iMA, 21iTA and 21iMA. A06B-6087-H100 and A06B-6087-H126 are the same PSM family at lower kW ratings — same cabinet architecture and the same DC-link concept, so they are carried as family cross-references, but the kW rating and the module width differ, so they are not drop-in for an H130. The later A06B-6110-Hxxx Alpha i PSM range supersedes this generation and uses different feedback and interface signalling, so it is a machine-level upgrade rather than a swap. FANUC support for this generation runs through repair-exchange, which is why tested surplus is the normal source.
