Rated Operational Current, AC-1: 12 A at up to 690 V — the resistive and non-inductive figure, for heaters, resistive banks and lamp loads. Rated Operational Current, AC-3: 6 A at up to 690 V — the squirrel-cage motor figure, which allows for the inrush and the breaking of a running motor. Rated Power, AC-3: 1.1 kW at 220–230 V, 2.2 kW at 380–415 V, and 2.2 kW at 660–690 V. AC-3 is always the lower of the two numbers because a motor draws several times its running current on start and the contacts have to make against that surge repeatedly.

Pole configuration

An LA1SK add-on contact block clips onto the front of the contactor and adds the pole count for three-phase motor control on the same 27 mm body.
