A FAG 20215-K-T-C3 single-row barrel roller bearing with a 75 mm tapered bore, a 130 mm outside diameter and a 25 mm width. It has a laminated fabric cage, C3 internal clearance and a self-aligning spherical outer raceway.

One row of short convex rollers on a spherical outer raceway gives high radial capacity in a narrow section and lets the inner ring swivel, so the bearing tolerates shaft misalignment and housing deflection without edge loading. It takes radial load only: a single barrel row has no axial capacity, so thrust is carried by another bearing in the arrangement. A double-row 22xxx spherical roller bearing does take thrust in both directions, which is why the two types are not interchangeable. C3 clearance leaves extra room for thermal growth and for the loss of clearance that comes with an interference fit, which is what keeps a hot or heavily fitted bearing from running pinched. The laminated fabric cage is light and quiet and tolerates marginal lubrication, with a lower temperature ceiling than brass.

The 1:12 tapered bore mounts on an adapter sleeve, H215, which seats on a 70 mm plain shaft; the sleeve is ordered separately. The bearing can also mount directly on a matching 1:12 tapered shaft journal.
Single-row tapered-bore barrel roller bearings of the same 75x130x25 mm size with C3 clearance: SKF 20215 K/C3 and NSK 20215KC3. The 22215 K double-row spherical roller is a different part, because it carries thrust in both directions. The straight-bore 20215 T needs a plain 75 mm shaft seat and no sleeve, and a CN-clearance version changes the mounted fit.
