MRC 200SF single-row deep groove ball bearing, 10 mm bore, 30 mm outside diameter, 9 mm width. Straight bore, one pressed steel shield, riveted steel cage. The ISO equivalent base number is 6200 Z.
In the MRC scheme a bare three-digit number in the 2nn family is the light 200 dimension series, equivalent to the ISO 62nn range, and the bore code is the last two digits multiplied by five: 00 denotes 10 mm. The S marks a single metal shield, so one face is closed and the opposite face is open.
Basic dynamic capacity is 5.1 kN and static capacity 2.36 kN, with a limiting speed of 24000 rpm. A single shield gives contamination exclusion on the closed face while keeping the low torque and high speed capability of an open bearing on the other, which suits an arrangement where a housing shoulder, a labyrinth or a second bearing already closes off one side.
Normal clearance, CN, in the absence of a clearance suffix. That suits a standard interference fit on the shaft and a housing at normal bore tolerance running near ambient temperature.
Ten pieces. Each is a complete bearing with inner ring, outer ring, ball complement, riveted steel cage and one shield.
The shielded face is normally turned outward, toward the source of contamination. Mounting force is applied to the ring being fitted, and pressing on the shield distorts it into the ball path.
Dimensionally interchangeable with a 6200 Z from any ISO metric source at normal clearance. A 6200 2Z with shields on both faces shares the same 10 x 30 x 9 mm envelope and is a related size, since the second shield changes torque and speed behaviour.
