An MRC 7310DU angular contact ball bearing with a 50 mm bore, a 110 mm outside diameter and a 27 mm width. It is universally ground, so it can be mounted as a single bearing or paired into a duplex set.

The MRC 7000 series is ground to a 29° contact angle. That figure sits between the common 25° and 30° values other manufacturers use, so a bearing chosen on envelope alone will not reproduce the same axial stiffness or thrust distribution. A 29° angle carries substantial thrust alongside its radial load and gives high axial rigidity, at a lower speed ceiling than a 15° bearing of the same size.
Universal grinding means the ring faces are finished so any two bearings of this designation clamp together into a duplex set with the designed preload, in back-to-back, face-to-face or tandem orientation, without shims. Mounted singly, the bearing takes thrust in one direction only and needs an opposing bearing to locate the shaft both ways.

Same-size bearings from other schemes carry different angles: a 7310B is 40°, a 7310AC is 25° and a 7310C is 15°. Those are related sizes and each changes axial rigidity and load sharing, so they are listed here as alternatives to specify deliberately rather than as drop-in equivalents.
