A Dodge Tigear-2 right-angle worm gear speed reducer in the smallest 1.33 in centre-distance frame, 10:1 nominal ratio, with a NEMA 56C quill input taking a 5/8 in motor shaft and a 5/8 in solid output shaft on the right-hand side. It turns a fractional-horsepower drive through 90° and cuts the speed by ten, which is why boxes this size are everywhere on small conveyors, indexers, feeders, dampers and agitators.

Input and output are both 5/8 in here, which catches people out: the quill takes a 5/8 in motor shaft and the output shaft is also 5/8 in. Check both against your motor and your driven component.
Quill input is not a C-face coupled input. The motor’s own shaft is the worm input, so the motor shaft length and diameter matter as much as the flange pattern.
Centre distance sets the torque class. At 1.33 in this is the light-duty end of the Tigear-2 range — sized for fractional-horsepower motors, not for shock-loaded industrial drives. The 2.0 in and larger frames are the step up, and they share no housing dimensions.
10:1 is a low-to-mid worm ratio and is not to be treated as self-locking. Use a brake motor if a load has to be held.

One reducer. No motor is included, and the output shaft key is missing — source a standard key for a 5/8 in shaft when you fit a sprocket, sheave or coupling. New old stock.
Measure the motor shaft against the quill before ordering a motor to suit. Check the oil level is correct for the mounting position you intend to use. On a small worm box, do not overhang a large sheave on the output shaft — radial load capacity is modest at this frame size, and a bearing overhung beyond its rating is the usual cause of early failure.
13Q10L56 is the opposite-hand output build. Other 13-series ratios share the housing and mounting but change the output speed. A-code Tigear-2 units are C-face coupled rather than quill and are not interchangeable. Dodge Tigear-2 now ships under Regal Rexnord with unchanged numbering.
