This is a Siemens power supply printed circuit board from a SIMODRIVE 650 AC main spindle drive. Its job is internal: it generates the low-voltage rails that run the drive’s own control electronics, gate drives and monitoring circuits. It is a plug-in board that lives inside a drive chassis — not a standalone power supply unit, not a DIN-rail supply and not the drive’s line-supply / infeed module. On its own it does nothing; it works only in the drive it was built for.
6SC6100 — the Siemens order-number block for SIMODRIVE circuit boards and plug-in assemblies within the 6SC drive generation. Sister boards in the same block include 6SC6100-0GA00 and 6SC6100-0GB12, which are also power supply PCBs for the range at other build levels.
-0GC14 — the specific board variant. This is the field to match: the -0G_ boards look alike and are not freely interchangeable.
462010.9062.14 — the Siemens internal board drawing / assembly number silkscreened on the PCB. Boards of this generation are frequently catalogued and searched under the drawing number rather than the 6SC order number, so both are worth searching. The trailing H J K letters that travel with this number are board revision stamps, not part of the order code.
Earlier copy described this as a general-purpose “power supply module” that “ensures reliable power supply for the drive components of a system”, and treated 462010.9062.14 as a model number. Neither reading is right. This is an internal PCB, and the 462010 number is the board drawing number — if you need the module that rectifies the mains and feeds a drive group, you are looking for a supply / infeed module, not this board.
Internal supply boards are stocked as spares because of how they fail: the drive goes completely dead, or it powers up and immediately drops out, while the power stage and the spindle motor are both perfectly sound. Replacing the board keeps the existing drive chassis, its tuning and its cabinet wiring intact, which is far less disruptive than swapping a whole main-spindle drive. On a machine tool that matters, because the spindle drive is usually the deepest-buried unit in the cabinet.
One board ships. No drive chassis or rack, no backplane, no mating connectors, no ribbon cabling, no mounting hardware and no documentation are included. Reuse the harness and card guides already in your drive.
Isolate and lock out the drive, then wait for the DC link to discharge and verify it with a meter before opening the chassis — a main spindle drive of this generation holds a lethal charge well after the mains is off, and the supply board sits close to it. Handle the board by its edges and its extraction handle. Photograph every connector, ribbon and link position before you unplug anything, because these boards carry multiple similar-looking headers and a transposed ribbon will take out the replacement on first power-up. Clean the gold edge fingers with isopropanol and a lint-free wipe rather than an abrasive, and reseat neighbouring cards while the chassis is open: on this generation of drive, intermittent faults are more often a dirty or fretted edge connector than a genuinely dead board. Check the drive’s internal rails against the machine documentation before returning the spindle to service.
Searched as 6SC6100-0GC14, 6SC61000GC14, 6SC6100 0GC14, 6SC 6100-0GC14, 462010.9062.14, 462010906214 and Simodrive 650 power supply PCB. Reported fitted in SIMODRIVE 650 main spindle drives in the 6SC6502 and 6SC6503 ranges, including the -4AA01 and -4AA02 builds — those are the numbers to check on your drive’s own nameplate. 6SC6100-0GA00 and 6SC6100-0GB12 are power supply boards from the same 6SC6100 block at other build levels; they are carried as cross-references because they share the search intent and the board family, but the variant suffix differs, so confirm against the board you are replacing. The whole 6SC generation is long discontinued with no factory successor at board level — SIMODRIVE 611 (6SN1) and then SINAMICS S120 replaced it as complete systems — so surplus stock and board-repair houses are the practical source for keeping a Simodrive 650 spindle running.
