A FAG NU2213-E-TVP2 single-row cylindrical roller bearing, 65 mm bore, 120 mm outside diameter, 31 mm wide. Cylindrical rollers in line contact with the raceways give a high radial rating and high radial stiffness for the envelope. The inner ring is plain and separable, so the bearing is a non-locating unit and the two rings mount independently.
NU is the design code and the specification that matters most: the outer ring carries two integral guide ribs, the inner ring has none, and the bearing provides no axial location in either direction. 22 is the wide ISO dimension series and 13 the bore code, giving 65 mm at five millimetres per unit. E is the reinforced internal design with a fuller roller complement. TVP2 is the glass-fibre reinforced polyamide 66 roller-guided cage; the whole designation is written NU2213-E-TVP2 in hyphenated form. No clearance suffix appears, so radial internal clearance is CN, normal.
The NU design is the floating position in a two-bearing shaft. It absorbs thermal growth by letting the roller set traverse the plain inner raceway, while a locating bearing elsewhere on the shaft takes the axial load and fixes position. Within the same 65 x 120 x 31 envelope, NJ2213 adds one inner-ring rib and locates the shaft in one direction, NUP2213 adds a rib plus a loose flange ring and locates in both, and NH2213 is an NJ with a separate HJ angle ring. The wide 22 series carries considerably more radial load than the NU2213’s narrower NU2 counterpart at the same bore, because the rollers are longer. The polyamide cage runs quietly, tolerates shock and brief lubricant interruption, and has a practical continuous ceiling of 120 °C.

The rings mount separately, which is the practical advantage of the separable design: the inner ring goes onto the shaft, the outer ring assembly into the housing, and the two are then brought together axially. Line contact makes cylindrical roller bearings sensitive to misalignment, so the shaft seat and housing bore want to be concentric and square. Roller sets and inner rings are matched at manufacture and are not swapped between bearings.
The ISO base number is NU2213, so another maker’s NU2213 E, NU2213ECP or NU2213 ET with a polyamide or steel cage is a genuine interchange on fit and axial behaviour. NJ2213, NUP2213, NH2213 and N2213 are related sizes rather than substitutions, because each changes the axial location the bearing provides or which ring carries the ribs. NU213 shares the 65 mm bore in the narrower NU2 series with a shorter roller and a lower rating.
