No suffix — standard tolerance class, open, with a pressed steel cage carrying the roller set in the cone.
Tapered rollers put line contact on both raceways, which is why the static rating of 171 kN sits well above the dynamic rating of 116 kN. That relationship is normal for this bearing type and not a data conflict.
The bearing takes heavy radial load and heavy axial load in one direction at the same time. Two of them mounted face-to-face or back-to-back take axial load both ways and set the shaft position.
The wide 331 section gives more roller length than the standard 302/303 series at the same bore, which is where the higher capacity comes from.
Limiting Speed 6 300 r/min applies with adequate lubrication and a correctly set running clearance.
Cone and cup separate, so the cone can be pressed onto the shaft and the cup into the housing independently. Assembly Width (T): 30 mm sets the axial space envelope.
