| Compatible With Replaces | Regina / Rexnord 1600 series 1 in pitch solid-top modular belt runs, 595 mm nominal width, with G1 guide. Runs side by side with Regina 782 and 783 series sideflexing chains (same thickness). Requires 1 in pitch MatTop sprockets and matching wear strips. |
| Additional Attributes | Pitch 1 in (25.4 mm); plate thickness T 8.7 mm (0.34 in) per Regina's 1600-series table; belt widths offered in 85 mm increments; standard supplied length 3.048 m (10 ft); designed for conveyors with 85 mm pitch between parallel tracks and 44 mm clearance between wear strips; central pocket makes the 1500/1600 one-inch-pitch belts bidirectional per Regina; completely closed top surface with no gap between modules even at sprocket engagement, giving high flatness and low coefficient of friction for easy side transfer; MATERIAL NOT STATED - Regina material code "UP" is not listed in the accessible 1600-series tables (published options there are acetal resin LW, Regina DK and polypropylene PP), so material, working load, chemical resistance and temperature range are left unspecified rather than assumed - confirm with Regal Rexnord if certification is required |

Correction: 595 mm is the width, 10 ft is the lengthThe previous description read “595mm wide conveyor chain with a length of 1600mm”. That is wrong. 1600 is the series designation, not a length. The carton label on this belt reads:
Description: 1600BG1 UP 595mmCode: 1600BG1UP0595Qty: 10 FTBrand panel: REGINA – Performance in Motion, product line Matveyor, reginachain.netRegina’s own MatTop tables confirm it: 595 mm is the belt nominal width “W” and equals 23.43 in, and the standard supplied length for this series is 3.048 m (10 feet). The label and the catalogue agree.
Reading the part number1600 – Regina 1600 series: 1 in (25.4 mm) pitch, solid top, light-duty modular plastic belt.B – the multi-width belt build (as opposed to the 1600A single 85 mm module width).G1 – fitted with the G1 underside guide. Regina offers the same belt without a guide, with guide G and with guide G1; the guide profile has to match your wear strips, so this is not an interchangeable detail.UP – Regina belt material code. See the note below.0595 – 595 mm nominal belt width. Why the 1600 series specificallyThe selling point of the solid-top 1600 is a completely closed surface with no gap between modules, even as the belt engages the sprockets. Regina states this gives extremely good flatness, high manufacturing accuracy and a low coefficient of friction, which is what makes side transfer of product easy. In practice that is why it turns up under glass containers, small parts and unstable packages – a petaloid-base PET bottle will tip on a flush-grid or open-top belt and will not on this one. The trade-off is drainage and cleanability: a solid top holds liquid and debris where an open grid sheds it.
Published dimensional and load data (Regina MatTop tables)Pitch: 1 in (25.4 mm)Nominal belt width: 595 mm / 23.43 inPlate thickness T: 8.7 mm (0.34 in) per the 1600-series tableBelt weight at 595 mm width: 4.47 kg/m (3.00 lb/ft) – so a 10 ft length runs about 30 lbWidths are offered in 85 mm increments; standard supplied length 3.048 m (10 ft)Designed for conveyors with 85 mm pitch between parallel tracks and 44 mm clearance between the wear stripsCan run side by side with Regina 782 and 783 series magnetic or tab sideflexing chains – same thicknessRegina notes the central pocket makes the 1500/1600 one-inch-pitch belts bidirectionalSpecification left open, deliberatelyThe material behind the “UP” code is not stated here. Regina’s published 1600 tables list acetal resin (LW), Regina DK and polypropylene (PP); “UP” is not among them in the accessible sections of the MatTop catalogue, and the belt-material key sits on a catalogue page not present in the retrieved document. Rather than guess between acetal and polypropylene – a choice that changes working load, chemical resistance and temperature range – it is left blank. If material certification matters for your application, confirm “UP” with Regal Rexnord before ordering. Working load is likewise not quoted: the load figures published against the 1600 series are for the 82.6 / 83.8 mm chain widths and do not transfer to a 595 mm belt without the per-metre-of-width figure.
Fitting notesModular belt is supplied in straight lengths and joined on the machine with hinge rods; a 10 ft piece is a repair length or a section of a longer build, not a finished endless belt. Match the sprocket tooth count and pitch to the 1 in series, and check that your existing wear strips suit the G1 guide profile – the guide is what keeps a solid-top belt tracking, and the wrong profile will chew both belt and strip.
Brand and obsolescence trailRegina (Italy) was acquired by Rexnord and Rexnord’s Process & Motion Control business is now Regal Rexnord. The same belt is therefore catalogued under Regina, Regina Matveyor, Rexnord MatTop and Regal Rexnord depending on the vintage of your paperwork. Search any of them.
QuantityOne shrink-wrapped 10 ft coil, exactly as photographed – the belt ships coiled, not flat. Sprockets, hinge rods, wear strips and idler wheels are not included.
