P925 — Famat piston type for the patented expanding-piston sampling valve design. Sibling types: P922 (GFK-reinforced PTFE with metallic scraper) and P909 (metallic piston for the 135A valve).
The PTFE piston expands inside the valve body and seals directly against the valve wall with no O-ring on the piston. In the closed position the piston sits flush with the vessel connection, leaving no dead space. Famat valve rating with this piston family: Pressure: full vacuum to 10 bar (145 psi). Temperature: −20 °C to 180 °C (−4 °F to 360 °F).
