Product Description

The Martin SF-BB is a QD (quick-detachable) idler bushing that converts a stationary shaft into a rotating idler for belt and chain drives, carrying two internal ball bearings on a 2-1/8 in (53.98 mm) bore. The SF-series flange is 4-5/8 in (117.5 mm) OD × 9/16 in (14.3 mm) thick with a 6-bolt hole pattern and a 1-1/2 in (38.1 mm) barrel; overall length 5 in (127 mm), bore length 2-1/16 in (52.4 mm), 5/16-18 setscrews, weight approx. 5.0 lb (2.27 kg). Radial load capacity ranges from 2,550 lb at 100 rpm to 1,180 lb at 1,000 rpm. Martin is Martin Sprocket & Gear. Also written SFBB, SF BB. Used on conveyor idlers, take-up idlers, and belt/chain tensioning.
