A Siemens 6SC6100-0GB12 — the power supply / voltage-clamping module PCB for the Simodrive 610 / 210 drive system used on Siemens-controlled CNC machine tools. It generates the internal supply rails the drive electronics run on and carries the DC-link voltage-clamping function. It mounts on stand-offs inside the drive chassis rather than being a free-standing supply.
6SC61 — Siemens Simodrive 610 AC drive family (6RB2 is the Simodrive 210 DC family; boards in the 0G group serve both).
00 — electronics / board group.
0GB12 — power supply and voltage-clamping module, stand-off mount, this configuration.
6SC6100-0GA12 — the sibling number carried on the same nameplate; the 0GA and 0GB groups are the power-supply / clamping variants within the family.
Type: power supply and voltage-clamping module (PCB).
Drive system: Simodrive 610 / 210.
Mounting: stand-off mount within the drive chassis.
Application: Siemens Simodrive 610 drives on CNC machine tools.
Manufacturer status: withdrawn from the Siemens catalogue 30 September 2012.
Origin: Germany (Siemens nameplate).
Because the supplies in a Simodrive rack are coupled, a failing supply board rarely announces itself cleanly — it shows as intermittent drive faults, axis dropouts or a control that will not enable, across more than one axis. That is also why substituting a board from a differently configured chassis can appear to work and then fault under load: the order number and the board drawing number are what identify a match, not the connector layout.
Board only. No drive chassis or rack, no power module or output stage, no control / regulator board, no pulsed (braking) resistor, no installation material or stand-off hardware, no ribbon or signal cables, no connector kits or terminal boards, and no documentation.
Sold as one board.
6SC6100-0GB12 and 6SC61000GB12 are the same part, and 6SC6100-0GA12 appears alongside it on the nameplate. Related numbers in the same group — 6SC6100-0GB00, -0GB11 and 6SC6100-0GA00 — are different configurations of the power supply / clamping module and are not automatically drop-in equivalents. The 0AB, 0NA and 0SA groups are feed-drive and analogue control boards, a different function entirely. 6RB2100 boards belong to the Simodrive 210 DC family.
