The Solcon Solbrake 31 230-0-S is a solid-state electronic motor brake that stops three-phase squirrel-cage motors by injecting controlled DC current into the motor windings after the mains contactor opens. The DC current creates a stationary magnetic field that exerts braking torque on the rotor. Type: DC injection motor brake.
